Hi, we are Steve and Kath Gaskell, owners of Shevington Farm, local producers of free-range eggs and long-time residents of Otaki, on the Kapiti Coast of New Zealand.
With a business background in poultry meat production, we converted our farm to free-range egg production some 10 years ago. These days, we are hands-on with everything from livestock management through to egg quality, regulatory compliance and customer service.
Together with a happy crew of loyal staff, we have a focus on good business ethics & free-range egg authenticity. Our simple goal is to supply customers with top quality, local free-range eggs
The farm is entirely cage-free, and is compliant with all NZ egg industry regulations. We operate in accordance with an MPI approved Risk Management Program and welcome regular external Audits to monitor livestock well-being, food safety standards and product authenticity.
