About us

Steve and Kath Gaskell are owners of Shevington Farm, local producers of free-range eggs and long-time residents of Otaki.

With a business background in poultry meat production, we converted our poultry farm to free-range egg production 10+ years ago.    We are hands-on with everything from livestock management through to egg quality, regulatory compliance and customer service.   Together with a small crew of loyal staff, we have a focus on good business ethics & free-range egg authenticity.   Our simple goal is to supply customers with top quality, local free-range eggs.   

We welcome regular external audits to monitor livestock well-being, food safety standards and product authenticity as well as staff training and management practices.
